Equity and Inclusive Education

The Halton Catholic District School Board is committed to providing an equitable and inclusive environment for its students and staff. We recognize that all people are created equal, in the image of God, each with inimitable characteristics deserving of dignity.

In accordance with the Church's teachings, it is the policy of the Board to provide, in all its operations, an inclusive educational environment that supports and enables diversity within its Catholic community.

On May 3, 2011, the Halton Catholic District School Board passed its new Equity and Inclusive Education Policy (#II-45). Administrative Procedure VI-54 has been developed to support and provide direction for the Halton Catholic District School Board’s Equity and Inclusive Education Policy and to support the Board’s Strategic Plan 2011–2015.
