Halton Catholic Board Recognizes Top Student Public Speakers

Following the annual Board-wide regional elementary public speaking competitions, held this year on March 24 (French) and March 31 (English), the Halton Catholic District School Board is proud to recognize the following top student presenter in each division:

The top French student public speakers will now proceed to the Provincial level to participate in the Festival D’Art Oratoire, which will be held at Glendon College Campus of York University on May 7, 2011. The Festival is co-sponsored by the Ontario Modern Language Teachers Association and Canadian Parents for French.
The school and regional level public speaking competitions develop oratory skills, self-confidence and are a great experience for students to have a chance to stand up in front of an audience and communicate their ideas.
