During the 2011-2012 school year, Our Lady of Peace and Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Elementary Schools created "Huddle Up" anti-bullying teams consisting of Grade 7 & 8 students.

The Huddle Up anti-bullying program is sponsored by the Toronto Argonauts. The Huddle Up student teams worked over the course of the school year on a campaign to promote positive behaviour and anti-bullying throughout their schools.

Last spring, the students participated in the Huddle Up student symposium at the University of Toronto. Jason Colero, Argo staff member and Joe Eppele, player, addressed the students sharing their stories around the importance of standing up to bullying.

The Argos were so impressed by the students' presentations that they promised all the participating schools that they would return with the Grey Cup if they were victorious.

On January 23, 2013, the Toronto Argonauts and the Grey Cup arrived at Our Lady of Peace and Sacred Heart of Jesus Schools for their Huddle Up victory celebrations.

The Board would like to commend the student teams at Our Lady of Peace and Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Elementary Schools.  Keep up the great work, and continue to promote the Huddle Up message, "Don't Stand By, Stand Up."
