On April 19, 2012, the team of four St. Bernadette Catholic Elementary School students won the Halton Catholic District School Board's Math Olympics, held in Milton.
Congratulations to the team of four very bright students - Theodore Agavriloai, Rachel Stanga, Ryan Menne, and Paige Aldridge. The St. Bernadette Catholic School team placed first out of 20 competing school teams.
The Math Olympics consisted of students solving a variety of challenging math problems. After three hours of individual, partner and team activities, St. Bernadette Catholic School's team was crowned Math Olympic Champions.
The winning team will travel to Windsor on June 8-9, 2012, to represent the Halton Catholic District School Board in the Ontario Math Olympics Competition.
