Advanced Student Registrations to be Held for the 2012-2013 School Year
 
 



The Halton Catholic District School Board will open its schools for advanced student registrations for the 2012-2013 school year the week of August 27, 2012 to August 31, 2012. Parents are asked to contact their local school directly for specific information regarding school office hours. 

Update: The new St. Mary Catholic Elementary School in Oakville (formerly West Oak Trails #5) will open on September 5, 2012, and is accepting new student registrations at the school, located at 2175 Colonel William Parkway, Oakville. 

Elementary students registering for the first time in the Halton Catholic District School System are required to produce proof of age, updated immunization records, and a Catholic Baptismal Certificate of the Roman or Eastern Rite. If the child has no Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal certificate, the child may be admitted if one parent can provide a Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal certificate. Students registering in a Halton Catholic secondary school are not required to provide a Catholic Baptismal Certificate.

Classes for elementary and secondary school students begin on Wednesday, September 5, 2012Please note that this does not apply to Junior Kindergarten students. Parents of students entering Junior Kindergarten in September 2012 are encouraged to contact their school directly for details related to the staggered entry process for JK students. 

All student bus information, including bus stop times, stop location and route numbers, will be available online at www.haltonbus.ca, starting the week of August 20, 2012. Parents should note that in order to access student transportation information, either online or by telephone (1-888-803-8660), it is necessary to know their child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN). Student bus information is also available at the school.
