Seasonal Flu Immunization Clinics Have Begun
Flu immunization is free and recommended by the Halton Region Health Department for all those six months of age and older.

​Halton Region's seasonal influenza (flu) immunization clinics have already begun at local schools and will begin at the Halton Regional Centre on November 8, 2012.

According to the Halton Region Health Department, the following actions can help prevent flu:

  • get the annual flu vaccination;
  • wash your hands with soap and water or use alcohol based hand rub;
  • cough and sneeze into your sleeve; and
  • stay home when you are sick.
