St. John School Collects Over 5200 lbs of E-Waste!
Congratulations to the eco-team and to the St. John School community for collecting over 5200 pounds of e-waste!

The St. John Catholic Elementary School community in Burlington recently participated in an e-waste recycling drop-off event, in partnership with Greentec.

The eco-team at St. John School arranged for this free e-waste recycling event, where parents, students, staff and members of the community were invited on January 14th and 15th to drop off old or broken electronics. Computers, cell phones, tablets, keyboards, monitors, printers, audio-video equipment, etc., were collected.

The e-waste equipment was picked up by Greentec, and data was safely and securely disposed of before it was recycled.

Congratulations to the eco-team and to the St. John School community for collecting over 5200 pounds of e-waste! With the amount raised during this recycling event, St. John School will be purchasing a tree to be planted in the spring of 2017. Thank you to all students, parents, staff, and members of the community for their involvement in this eco-friendly initiative!
