On Saturday, March 11th, Western University hosted an open house for HCDSB international students during March Break.
42 international students traveled to London, Ontario for a fun-filled, educational day, beginning with a presentation from the Administrative Director of the Education Language Centre. Students were also presented with information about programs available to international student applicants, including the 9 week 'English Boost Program'.
The presentation was followed by a tour of Ontario Hall, the newest residence on the Western Campus, as well as a Q & A session with Admissions staff.
Students then toured the Western campus and visited the Science, Engineering and Business/Social Science buildings to find out about specific programs offered by these faculties.
The day concluded with a trip to the King’s University College Campus and included information about King’s Enhanced Year Program (KEY). International students toured the beautiful campus with a current student ambassador, and were able to take a sneak peek of the life of a student resident at the University.
A wonderful day was had by all! Thank you to Western University for the warm and gracious welcome!
