IB Students Welcome Minister and MPP Naidoo-Harris to St. Thomas Aquinas School

On Friday, March 3, 2017, approximately 300 International Baccalaureate (IB) students welcomed the Honourable Indira Naidoo-Harris, Minister of the Status of Women, Minister Responsible for Early Years and Child Care, and Halton MPP to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School, in Oakville.

The collaborative discussion involved students learning about Canadian politics, education and career exploration. Minister Naidoo-Harris spoke to IB students about her experience in politics, as well as her personal and professional journey to where she is today.

To conclude the presentation about her personal story and career triumphs, Minister Naidoo-Harris welcomed students and staff to participate in a question and answer period.
