 Anaphylaxis

Anaphylaxis is the serious form of allergic reaction to a stimulus (e.g. peanuts), involving one or more of the body’s systems:  the respiratory tract, the gastrointestinal tract, the skin and the cardiovascular system.  Anaphylaxis can lead to a loss of consciousness or even death.
