Child Care, and Before and After School Care

Child Care

Licensed Child Care programs are located in 10 of our schools, and are operated by community, non-profit Child Care providers. For a listing of Child Care centres located within the Halton Catholic District School Board, please click here.

For more information on licensed Child Care programs, please visit the Ontario Ministry of Education's website: www.edu.gov.on.ca/childcare/

Before and After School Care

Before and After School Care is available for school-age children, from 3.8 to 12 years of age. The programs are operated by community Child Care providers. Space may be limited, so early registration is important.

The Before and After School Care Program is offered through an independent third party provider approved by the Region of Halton and the Ministry of Education, in locations where there is sufficient enrolment to make such programs sustainable.

A minimum enrolment of ten (10) students is required for each site, and the program is optional for students. Please note that the licensed capacity for the Before and After School Care (Extended Day) program at each of our elementary school sites vary, depending on the size of the school.
