Goals

  • To provide a safe, secure, positive Christ-centered learning environment
  • To provide a personalized program that enables students to achieve their academic goals
  • To provide supports, strategies and interventions that promote personal and spiritual growth
  • To enable students to make positive choices and become academically responsible
  • To enable students to achieve expectations within the program and successfully return to home school

Expectations & Responsibilities

Students actively participate in the creation of a safe working and learning environment in which they develop the stategies, skills and specific individual plans to deal with future conflict and/or problems.

Students are encouraged to demonstrate respect for staff, other students, and self; and to take responsibility for their decisions and actions. Students and parents are required to agree to the program guidelines and the code of conduct.

Admission to Program

  • referral from home school principal and/or vice/principal
  • student/parent program commitment
  • admission intake meeting
  • development of student success plan (academic and non-academic)

  • child and youth counselor
  • supervising principal
