Holy Family Elementary School

Our School

Holy Family is a wonderful school community which truly lives the gospel values through following our community agreements of mutual respect, attentive listening, appreciations and the right to pass.

Every month 2 students per class are recognized for their demonstration of the Catholic Graduate Expectations and we like to catch kids doing things right!

Being a small school we all know each others names and work to include everyone in our games at recess. Children look forward to coming to school and graduates frequently return to volunteer and visit. Our Student and School Councils plan and run many community and spirit building events which builds community in our school and a sense of belonging.

We are a Healthy School and focus on eating healthy foods, feeding our brains as well as our bodies. We ask that lunches be sent in reusable containers and refillable water bottles to lessen our footprint on our environment.

Finally we have a wonderful hardworking staff who provide outstanding curriculum resulting in our school consistently achieving outstanding results on the provincial assessments each May.

Student Success Programs

Every Thursday from 3:30-4:30 the Big Brothers/Sisters facilitate a Homework club where 16 high school mentors work one on one with students to assist with homework.
