Curriculum Focus

We are committed to enabling all students to reach their potential, and to succeed.  Our challenge is that every student is unique and each must have opportunities to achieve success according to his ofr her own interests, abilities and goals.  We have set high expectations and standards for our students, while introducing a range of options that allow students to learn in different ways.  We are very proud that our students regularly place among our board's best.

Environmental Focus

At St. Andrew Catholic School, we are proud to proclaim and put into practice our collective role as stewards of the earth.  The variety of recycling strategies, ways of reusing materials and diverting waste from landfill have become a major focus for staff and students.  Our efforts have allowed us to achieve Gold status in the ECO School Certification program.  We have been featured in a number of newspaper articles and publications related to the number of environmental initiatives and our successes.

Parent Community Involvement

St. Andrew Catholic School is very fortunate to have a parent community that is very involved in the life of the school and in the education of their children.  Parent volunteers allow our school to have activites and programs such as Tree of Light, Family BBQ, All-Star Reading, Treat Lunch, trip supervisors and more.

Our Catholic School Council is actively involved in the life of the school and supports the funding of curriculum initiatives.  Our annual Halloween Dance-A-Thon is our major fundraiser.

Community Use of the School

St. Andrew Catholic School is regularly used by the community for various sports and community activities.
