St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Elementary School strives to provide a caring community of learning that will promote the formation of the whole person and develop our students as life-long learners.
 
In partnership with home, school and parish, we are committed to encouraging the full development of each individual's God given talents, so that the potential of each can be realized, and by sharing these gifts, the lives of others may be enriched.

Curriculum Focus

​Grade level Focus on Faith themes are embedded in daily teacher-student learning. Our assessment and instructional practices focus on developing Literacy and Numeracy skillls for the 21st century learner.

Environmental Focus

​As Stewards of Creation and a certified Eco-School, we respect the environment by promoting the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Some of our initiatives include: weekly "Litter less Lunches", consistent use of recycling and green bins, waste minimization, Eco lessons, energy conservation, recycling buddies and Eco news updates.

Parent Community Involvement

​Parent volunteers contribute valuable hours to supporting school initiatives and students. Some of the many volunteer contributions are: All-Star Reading, Halton Food For Thought program, Pizza lunch, Community events, fundraisers and Catholic School Council.

Community Use of the School

​We currently host the International Languages program on Friday evenings from 5:00 - 8:30 p.m. The program celebrates the diversity in our community. For further information, please contact the Thomas Merton Centre at 905.849.7555.
