Welcome to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Elementary School. We are proud of the partnership that exists between students, staff, home and church which is dedicated to exemplifying Catholic values in a learning environment which promotes the dignity, respect, and potential of all students. St. Joan of Arc is an associate school of St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School and is located south of Dundas Street, between Bronte Road and Third Line in Oakville, Ontario.
Presently, as of September 2011, we have 659 students registered at our school. St. Joan of Arc is one of the designated Catholic elementary schools in the Halton Catholic District School Board to offer the Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten Program in 2012 – 2013.
We are so blessed to have a caring and nurturing staff who model our Catholic values and support the children, both spiritually and academically. We also have very active parent volunteers, and a dedicated Catholic School Council. We also appreciate the entire Pastoral team at St. Matthew Parish, who provide guidance and dedication to the faith development of our students. We appreciate their assistance and the spiritual presence that they bring to our school community.
To the many families who are new to our community, we welcome you. We encourage you to become involved in the school as attentive parents, as parent volunteers and as active supporters of the St. Joan of Arc Catholic School community. We will continue to foster community partnerships, and strong traditions and celebrate and give thanks to all who participate in cultivating the close working relationship that exists between home, school and church.
