St. Raphael Elementary School

Our School

St Raphael School is 50+ years young in its service to the Catholic community. We are situated adjacent to St. Raphael's Parish Church under the spiritual guidance of the Conventual Franciscan Friars. Our school is tiny but our students are full of enthusiasm and a want to serve others. We have an active Catholic School Council that makes every effort to engage all parents in the activities of the school to make it welcoming and an enjoyable experience for all who venture into our hallways. We look forward to the next 50+ years in the knowledge that when we serve others we serve our Saviour and our God.

Student Success Programs

We have several opportunities to engage our Catholic Secondary School partners in activities that promote and support our Catholic school graduates as they transition to Assumption Catholic Secondary School through the support of Student Services at the Secondary School. Our Secondary school Administration makes several visits to our school site to engage students in transition dialogue and to make them aware of activities that can enhance their secondary school experience.

Our St. Raphael School staff are committed to using recent achievement data and benchmark assessments to program most effectively for our students on a cyclical basis throughout the schoool year. The School Improvement Team engages staff in memaningful dialogue on a monthly basis to problem solve and implement strategies that will be most beneficial to all students and those at risk for academic challenges.
