Group Classification

GROUP II **
Non-Profit Halton Residents Volunteer Community Groups providing services free of charge including:

• Municipal Parks & Recreation Department Programs
• Registered Charitable Organizations
• Provincially Funded Educational Organizations
• Community Service Groups – Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, Neighbourhood Watch, Block Parents, United Way, etc.
• Child Care Centres
• Recognized Ratepayer Groups

If you qualify as GROUP II please apply to your Municipal Parks & Recreation office for a permit**

GROUP III
Community Services Groups & Programs Charging Participation Fees or User Fees including:
 

• Computer, Music, Dancing, Arts, Drama and Gymnastic Classes
• Fundraising Events
• Craft Sales
• Cultural Events
• Religious Congregations
 

GROUP IV

Commercial Groups permitting school facilities for meeting purposes, or to promote or celebrate functions to benefit their own enterprise including:


• Political Organizations
• Commercial Theatre and Film Productions
• Condominium Associations
• Non-Halton Resident Groups
• Commercial Enterprises
• All Other Individuals, Groups and Organizations

** Group II rates are made possible through funding from the Ministry of Health Promotion for the 2009 – 2010 school year.  Rates are subject to change
