The Halton Catholic District School Board released today its Board and individual secondary school results of the 2007 Grade 9 Mathematics assessment conducted by the provincial EQAO (Education Quality and Accountability Office). A total of 2,276 Grade 9 students of the Board's seven secondary schools participated in the assessment, which was conducted in each semester of the last school year (January, 2007 and June, 2007). 1,775 students participated in the Academic assessment and 501 students completed the Applied testing.

The Halton Catholic District School Board is pleased to release today its Board and individual school results of the EQAO 2007 Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) results. The results indicate that a significantly greater percentage of our Grade 10 students have been successful on the OSSLT compared to the provincial success rate.

A total of 2,229 Grade 9 students of the Board's seven secondary schools participated in the assessment, which was conducted in each semester of the last school year (January, 2006 and June, 2006). 1,725 students participated in the Academic assessment and 504 students completed the Applied testing.

A total of 2,197 Grade 9 students of the Board’s seven secondary schools participated in the assessment, which was conducted in each semester of the last school year (January, 2005 and June, 2005). 1,703 students participated in the Academic assessment and 494 students completed the Applied testing.

The Halton Catholic District School Board released today its Board and individual secondary school results of the 2002 (January and June) Grade 9 mathematics assessment conducted by EQAO (Education Quality and Accountability Office). The results indicate that the Halton Catholic District School Board continues to improve on the Grade 9 EQAO Mathematics Assessment. Compared to last year's assessment results (Method 1), the Board has witnessed a growth in the number of students achieving at or above the provincial standard (level 3 and level 4) – a 10 percent increase in the Academic programme and a 5 percent increase in the Applied programme.
