"Hear the word of the Lord...Learn to do Good, Seek Justice" (Isa. 1:17)
 
This has been selected as the Focus on Faith theme for 2009-2011.  The authors of the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament proclaimed a strong message to hear God's word, to learn to love, and to act with justice.  This message is significant to the Halton Catholic District School Board learning community as we provide exceptional Catholic education (HEAR AND LEARN), nurturing the call to love and serve as people of faith living out God's plan (DO).
 
As we move into the next two year phase of Focus on Faith, we will be exploring the three-fold message of our theme - Hear, Learn and Do.

Hear - How do we hear the word of the Lord?

• Liturgical and Eucharistic Celebrations
• Instruction
• Relationships

Learn:  - How do we teach the Gospel message?

• Religion and Family Life Education Program
• Focus on Faith - unifying Catholic themes, K - 12
• Curriculum Core Maps and essential questions
• Every process throughout our day gives us an opportunity to share Christ's message

Do - "Love and serve as people of Faith".  What does this look like?  How do we teach it?  How do   we demonstrate it?
