“Be the Best that you can be”

A Prayer for St. James School

God, Our Creator,

We ask through the intercession of Saint James,

That you open the hearts and minds of all our young people

Who shall journey within these walls.

May they always thirst for knowledge and be models of Christian love.

Continually nourish those who till the soil

And plant a seed within our young people.

May these seeds produce a rich harvest

Of conscientious citizens, active leaders

And loyal Catholics.

May these walls always provide a safe and secure

Learning environment that will foster

Future professionals, politicians, trades people,

Business people, and religious vocations.

For as long as this building shall stand,

May it be a beacon of light

Shining brightly for all to see.

We ask this in Jesus’ name

AMEN.
