Shad Valley |
Shad Valley appeals to energetic, creative, and
talented students with strong leadership skills and excellent
academic records. This summer program combines entrepreneurship
with science and technology. Associated with some of the top
universities in Canada, Shad Valley is a program for senior high
school students. Places in the program are highly sought after each

Peel Summer Academy

Peel Summer Academy is a unique two-week summer
residential program for intellectually gifted students.

McMaster Mini-University Camps |
Modules are four subjects grouped together to offer
a variety of experiences. All modules are designed to explore both
sciences and non-sciences. When children register, they choose the
module they prefer. Participants choose between 3 modules to
register in. Subjects in different modules cannot be mixed. Click on

Virtual Ventures - Flash Programming - Carlton University |
Flash game programming teaches campers to make their
own video games.
Campers learn how computer games are programmed using Macromedia
Flash's language, Action Script. The topics that we will cover
during the week relate to all aspects of game programming: Graphic
Design, Animation, Programming Structures, Hit Detection,
Troubleshooting, and Music/Sound Effects. |

skills. From beginners to advanced levels, this program is flexible
enough to suit your needs! |

Summer Language Bursary Program |
The SLBP is an intensive language learning program
that immerses participants in the French language during a five week
period in the summer. This program is run through the Council of
Ministers of Education, Canada and is open to Canadian citizens in
at least grade 11. The course is run at universities across Canada
including College Boreal in Sturgeon Falls, Glendon College at York
University, and La Cite Collegiale in Ottawa. Funding for this
program is provided by the Department of Canadian Heritage.
Application deadline is February 2006.
