In June, 2020, Anna Prkacin, Superintendent of Education (Curriculum Services), announced her intent to retire on July 31, 2020.

Anna was first hired by our Board in 1980, and for almost 40 years, she has served the Halton Catholic community as Teacher, Elementary Vice-Principal, Elementary School Principal, and Superintendent of Education. In November, 2015, Anna was appointed to the position of Superintendent of Education (Curriculum Services), and has since provided exceptional system leadership and guidance in this role. 

Over the years, Anna has earned the well-deserved respect and admiration of staff, students, parents, trustees and members of our parish communities. She is a remarkably articulate, faith-filled, and passionate Catholic educator and leader who personifies strength of character, integrity and compassion for the individuals she serves and leads. She has been a mentor and a source of inspiration for many, and her legacy will live on in the many hearts and minds she has touched across our district.
