The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) is grateful for the dedication and continued support of students, families and staff in the Keeping Christ in Christmas contest ~ back for its 8th year!
We are taking our annual contest to the next level by giving back to our community. And what better way to Keep Christ in Christmas than to support local families in need.
Giving Back to the Community
A selection of artwork from last year’s contest has been used to create printed Christmas cards, which will be sold online.
Each card bundle has an assortment of 12 cards, available for purchase with a minimum donation of $10. All proceeds will support families in need this Christmas through the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
Christmas Card Delivery
For Parents and Students: Your Christmas cards will be mailed by courier to your home school. Your school’s main office will send the bundle of cards home with your child.
For School Staff: Your cards will be mailed by courier to your home school as well.
If you are a member of the community, your cards will be held at the Catholic Education Centre (CEC) reception desk at 802 Drury Lane in Burlington. You can arrange for pick-up by calling our reception desk at 905-632-6300.
Upon arrival to the CEC, please call the reception desk (905-632-6300) to be let into the building, and fill out our Essential Visitors Screening Form.
*Please allow between 5-7 business days for delivery.
*Important Note for Remote Learners ~ If you or your child are learning remotely, select your HOME SCHOOL in the dropdown box. Please contact the school office to make arrangements for pick-up.
If you are interested in giving back to the community and purchasing a bundle of Christmas cards, you can fill out this online form, and purchase your cards directly through PayPal.
There are a limited number of cards available, so bundles will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
