About David Bouchard

David Bouchard, Métis speaker, author and educator, is an award-winning writer who has worked on over 70 books in both English and French. David is one of Canada’s most sought-after public speakers for his gift of storytelling. Growing up not knowing his cultural heritage, David strived to discover the history of his ancestors that was hidden out of fear of being treated unfairly. David was successfully able to trace his ancestry back many generations to Menominee Treaty of 1848.
