After 37 years of service to the Halton Catholic District School Board, Paul Quinn, Supervisor of Accounting Services will retire at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
Paul first joined HCDSB on October 24, 1983 when he was hired as a General Accountant. In 1995, he was promoted to Supervisor of Accounting Services and has served in that capacity ever since.
Over the years, Paul has earned the respect and admiration of HCDSB staff across our system. The embodiment of hard work and dedication, Paul has been a pillar of knowledge at HCDSB throughout an exemplary career that spans almost four decades. He has forged many friendships along the way, and we will certainly miss his quiet wisdom, his dry wit, and his friendly smile.
Paul says what he will miss most are the mentorship opportunities he experienced while working at our Board. “I had the opportunity to be mentored by some brilliant individuals over the years. Many of them retired before me, so when they left, I had the opportunity to act as a mentor and use what I’ve learned to provide counsel to my coworkers,” says Paul.
Excited to begin the next chapter of his life, Paul says he is looking forward to spending more quality time outside this summer participating in recreational activities and working on home-maintenance projects.
Congratulations, Paul, on such a successful career, and thank you for your dedication to HCDSB over the years! We wish you many more years of good health and happiness as you embark on your next adventure!
