The Halton Catholic District School Board is honouring 34 staff members who have served the Board for 25 years, and the 71 members of staff who have retired by the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
Collectively, these staff members have contributed over 2500 years of service to the students of the Board.
HCDSB also celebrates the retirement and 25 year recognition of Allison McLean, secondary teacher at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School, and the retirement of our longest serving staff member, Helen Carrier, after 40 years of service to our Board. Helen worked as the Head Secretary for Assumption Catholic Secondary School, Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School and most recently Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary School.
“I would like to congratulate and thank our retirees and 25-year employees for their years of service to the students, families and staff at HCDSB,” said Pat Daly, Director of Education.
“Each of these staff members exemplify what it means to be models of Christ-like behaviour, all while supporting our students as they fulfill their God-given potential. Our students thrive, our schools thrive, and our district thrives because of their hard work and dedication.”
Congratulations to our amazing retirees and 25-year employees!
