The 2012–2013 School Year Calendar was developed through the work of the Board’s School Year Calendar Committee, chaired by James Rowles, Superintendent of Education, School Services, and in response to input received from stakeholder groups. The Committee was comprised of a parent representative of the Catholic School Councils (CPIC), OECTA Unit Presidents (Elementary and Secondary), CUPE 3166 and 5200 representatives, and Principal Association representatives. Consultation also took place with the Halton District School Board.
