Food and Nutrition students from Loyola were able to experience post-secondary life as they sat in a classroom at Guelph University.

The Food and Nutrition class at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School embarked on a fun-filled, educational trip to Guelph University, during the month of February. Students in the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program were able to tour the campus, the shared facilities, and have lunch at the student-run restaurant.

In addition, Loyola students were able to experience post-secondary life as they sat in a classroom, and received a special presentation by Assistant Professor, Valerie Allan. The students were greeted by a round of applause from Guelph students as they entered the classroom to observe - what an experience!

Thank you to the staff and students at Guelph University for graciously welcoming our Loyola community, and for sharing what the post-secondary Food and Nutrition course has to offer!
