On Thursday, June 9, 2016, the Halton Catholic District School Board honoured 61 staff members who have served the Board for 25 years and the 83 who are retiring from the Board this year. Collectively, these staff members have contributed over 3,309 years of service to our students!

The celebration, which took place at Le Dome Banquet Hall in Oakville, included a special Eucharistic Celebration, officiated by His Excellency Bishop Daniel Miehm, Auxiliary Bishop of Hamilton, and concelebrated by the Very Reverend J. Van Hees, Dean of Halton and Pastor at Mary Mother of God Parish, Oakville.

The honourees were recognized for their significant contributions and dedication to Catholic education. Members of the Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School Jazz Band, under the direction of Kevin Harkin, performed during the reception following Mass.

This year, 6 staff members are celebrating both 25 Years of Service and are retiring from the Board. Congratulations!
