For 45 years, IB programmes have gained a reputation for rigour and high academic standards, and for preparing students for life in a globalized 21st century world.
On March 3rd, approximately 300 IB students from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School will meet the Honourable Indira Naidoo-Harris, Minister of the Status of Women, Minister Responsible for Early Years and Child Care, and Halton MPP, to learn about Canadian politics, education and career exploration.
Minister and MPP Naidoo-Harris will share her educational background, cultural upbringing, and her career in politics and as a resident of Halton. Students and staff will have an opportunity to listen to her stories, and participate in a question and answer period.
