Bishop Reding Student Receives Scholarship from Congress of Black Women of Mississauga & Area Chapter!
Congratulations to Matthias on this well-deserved honour!
Matthias Scheid-Wiltshire, a Bishop P.F. Reding Catholic Secondary School student was awarded a $1000 scholarship at the 32nd Annual Family Brunch and Scholarship Awards.

The award was presented by the Congress of Black Women of Canada, Mississauga & Area Chapter, on June 11, 2017.

The award honours the academic achievements of young men and women of the Black community, and encourages them to continue their academic studies in their chosen field of study. The scholarship is awarded to those who demonstrate exceptional academic ability, extracurricular participation, and offer consistent volunteer service. 

Founded in 1973 by Kay Livingstone, the Congress of Black Women of Canada is a national non-profit organization, dedicated to improving the lives of families across the country. A focus of the organization is to award scholarships to deserving youth, with the objective of encouraging students to complete and further their education through post-secondary schooling.

Congratulations to Matthias on his outstanding achievements! We wish him future success as he continues his educational journey.
