On Thursday, September 14th, the Oakville chapter of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) hosted the 2017 Fall Licence Ceremony and Scholarship Awards.

During the ceremonies, three graduating students from the Halton Catholic District School Board were recognized for their outstanding contributions to various system-wide Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) initiatives, and their pursuit of engineering pathways beyond the secondary level.

The following secondary students were selected from numerous applications received from across the Region of Halton. Each student's accomplishments were profiled and they each received a scholarship from the Oakville chapter.

  • Veronica Lee, from Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School
  • Andres E. Lombo, from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School
  • Meghan Mazer, from Bishop P.F. Reding Catholic Secondary School

Congratulations to our HCDSB alumni and best wishes to each of our graduating students as they continue to fulfill their God-given potential!
