Halton Catholic Young Innovators Receive Top Scores at Regional Science Fair!

We are pleased to announce that St. Andrew and St. Mary Catholic Elementary Schools recieved top scores at the Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF) this year! The fair took place from March 21 through March 27, 2018.

Grades 7-12 students from the region of Halton, the city of Hamilton, Six Nations and the counties of Haldimand, Norfolk and Brant, were invited to take part in this annual event.

Halton Catholic young innovators showcased their expertise and skills in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Projects were set up for public viewing and judging over the course of four days.

On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, the 58th Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair held their annual Awards Ceremony at Mohawk College to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of all students involved. It was the celebration of many hours of hard work for student participants, organizers, and volunteers.
