Schools and supporting staff will gather to celebrate creativity and musical talent at the Festival of Harmony on May 18 and May 25, an annual music festival that features HCDSB's outstanding elementary school music programs.

Since its inception in 2013, the festival has been running with the guidance and support of Music Teachers, including Kevin Harkin, Secondary Teacher and member of the Holy Trinity Music Department, and Steve Curto, Music Teacher at Our Lady of Peace.

The non-competitive, annual event allows students in instrumental band to collaborate and share their gift of music with their peers.

This year, due to increased interest and growth of music programs, the event will be held at both Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary and Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary. 8 elementary schools will participate in a full day of musical performances and peer mentorship alongside Holy Trinity and Jean Vanier staff and students.
