St. Teresa of Calcutta School Raises over $2000 for Angel Hair for Kids Program
On June 28, 2017, students and staff gathered at St. Teresa of Calcutta School to donate braids and ponytails to Angel Hair for Kids.
On June 28, 2017, students, school staff, and Catholic Education Centre staff gathered for the third annual Angel Hair for Kids event at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Elementary School!

Volunteers at the event generously donated braids and ponytails of their hair to the program, which provides wigs and hair loss solutions for financially disadvantaged children experiencing hair loss.
In total, 41 ponytails were collected for the Angel Hair program! An additional $2,100 was raised for the project - enough to create at least 2 wigs.

The Angel Hair for Kids program is part of 'A Child's Voice Foundation', creating wigs for children in need at no cost to their families. Since its launch three years ago, the program has helped over 250 children in need.

Thank you to all the wonderful supporters who graciously donated their long beautiful locks! For more information on the Angel Hair for Kids program, please visit.
