HCDSB Bullying Prevention Gala Next Week!


On April 4 2019, students, staff and guests will gather at Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary School to recognize student finalists and announce the top winners of the 2018-2019 'See the Problem, Be the Solution' Bullying Prevention contest.

This year, students in Grades 4-12 were invited to develop creative arts-based public service messages that convey the themes of equity and respect; promoting healthy relationships and inclusion in their school communities.

Through an online voting process, the top HCDSB submissions will be announced in the following categories:

1. Best Poster
2. Best Song
3. Best Video

All student finalists and their submissions will be showcased at the Gala on April 4th.

See the Problem, Be the Solution was derived from the 'Give Respect, Get Respect Halton School Challenge', which began as an opportunity to join forces with Halton Regional Police Services, Halton Region, Halton District School Board, and independent schools in Halton to raise awareness of bullying prevention.
