HCDSB Holds Annual Election of Chair & Vice-Chair

On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) held its annual election of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board. Vincent Iantomasi, Burlington Trustee was elected as the new Chair, and Marvin Duarte, Milton Trustee was acclaimed as the new Vice-Chair of the Board.

The term for the Chair and Vice-Chair is for a period of one year, commencing the first Board Meeting in December.

Quick Facts:

  • Trustees are elected every four years during the municipal election. The last municipal election took place on October 22, 2018. 
  • The HCDSB is allocated a maximum of nine (9) school board Trustees. 
  • HCDSB Trustees represent 'at large' across each of the municipalities in Halton - Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton, and Oakville. 
  • Trustees meet on the first Tuesday and the third Tuesday of each month in the Board Room of the Catholic Education Centre (802 Drury Lane, in Burlington). Learn more​
