HCDSB's Future Females in Trades Symposium!

On November 14, Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) Pathways hosted the Future Females in Trades (F.I.T.) Symposium at the Canadian Welding Bureau in Milton.

Students from St. Peter, Holy Rosary (Milton), Our Lady of Victory, St. Anthony and Bishop Reding Catholic schools attended the event. The symposium gave students the opportunity to connect with women in trades, hear their experiences, and gain valuable advice as they continue on in their education and plan for their futures.

Students learned from some of the best in trades in the Halton Region, including Master Chef Melani Bastiens, owner of The Green Eatery, and Julia Vertolli, owner of Decorative Dreams.
