HCDSB Welcomes Students Back on September 3rd!

On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, the Halton Catholic District School Board welcomes students back to school for the start of the 2019-2020 school year!

Quick Facts:

  • Important dates and holidays can be found in our 2019-2020 School Year Calendar.
  • Last year, we introduced Online K-8 Registration. Online registration makes the elementary school registration process more convenient for parents registering their child for the first time at an HCDSB school. For more information, visit our Registration page.
  • Parents may also register their child in-person at their home school. Please contact your home school directly to determine hours of availability, registration requirements, and to book an appointment.
  • For student bus schedules, and notifications on bus delays and cancellations, please visit:. In order to access student transportation information, either online or by telephone (1-888-803-8660), parents should have their child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN) on hand. This number can be found on a child’s report card or obtained from the school.
  • School start dates may vary for children in Kindergarten, as staggered entry is in effect. Parents of children attending Kindergarten this year are encouraged to check with their school for the correct start date and time.

“The start of a new school year is always an exciting time. We look forward to welcoming our new and returning students, staff, and families. On behalf of our senior team, I extend best wishes to all in our HCDSB community for a successful and rewarding year ahead." - Pat Daly, Director of Education
