Living as Joyful Disciples During Catholic Education Week

During the week of May 5 to May 10, 2019, the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) will celebrate the significant contribution that Catholic education has made to the community, the province and to Canada.

Throughout the week, students, staff, parents, parishes and members of our community will participate in a variety of activities and reflections that celebrate the distinctiveness of Catholic education.

The province-wide theme of this year, 'Living as Joyful Disciples', reminds us that our Catholic schools exist to help students form and grow as disciples of Christ.

The five sub-themes for Catholic Education Week are:

Rooted in Prayer
Living in Community
Doing Justice & Creating Hope
Journeying Together in Faith
Sharing the Good News
