How do I register my child?

To register your child, please make an appointment by contacting your Catholic home school. For more information about the requirements for registration, please view the Registration Information​ page.

What school will my child attend?

You can use the School FInder online tool to determine which school your child will attend.

Where can I see a map of a school's boundary's?

You can refer to the School Boundary Maps​ on our Board`s website to view the layout of school boundaries.

Can my child attend a school outside of our school's boundary?

You can submit a Cross Boundary Request, which is a form you can obtain at your home school or closest Catholic elementary school. This request will be forwarded to the appropriate Superintendent for consideration and subsequent approval/denial. Please note: in the event your request is approved, transportation is notprovided by the Board. Please click here to learn more about the Cross Boundary procedure.

Is my child eligible for busing?

You can use the Transportation Eligibility ​online tool to determine if your child is eligible for busing.

How do I enrol my child in a French Immersion program?

Please visit the Early French Immersion (Grade 1) program page or the Extended French Immersion (Grade 5) ​program page on our website for more information.

Can my child attend Catholic school even though our family is not Catholic?

Elementary School: Children who do not have a parent/guardian who is Catholic, must receive special permission from the Director of Education in order to attend a Catholic elementary school. Secondary School: There is no requirement to be Catholic in order to attend a Catholic secondary school. Please contact the Director's office at (905) 632-6300, ext. 115 for more information.

How do I find out if I’m registered as a Catholic School Supporter?

In order to determine if you are registered as a Catholic school supporter:

  • Check your most recent Property Assessment Notice
  • Check with your landlord
  • Call MPAC at 1-866-296-6722

I have recently moved, do I need to change my school support again?

When you move to a new address, you should always verify that your school support is being directed to the proper school board. You can do this by:

We don’t have children attending school. Do we need to direct our school support?

Yes. School Support direction should be made even if you do not have children attending school. Click here to obtain Direction of School Support forms and to learn about the submission process.

Will my taxes increase if I direct my support to Catholic schools?

No. A change to the direction of school support does not result in any additional cost to you as a taxpayer, or affect your property in any way.

I am renter, not a homeowner. Can I direct my support to Catholic schools?

Although tenants do not receive a Property Assessment Notice, they may still direct school support to Catholic schools. Click here to obtain Direction of School Support forms and to learn about the submission process.

I am non-Catholic. Can I direct my support to Catholic schools?

A Separate School Lease Agreement allows people who jointly own or rent a property to designate school support to the Separate School Board when one of the owners or tenants is non-Roman Catholic. Click here to obtain a Separate School Lease Agreement form and learn about the submission process.
