We Are Excited to Welcome Your Child to HCDSB!

At the Halton Catholic District School Board, God's call to love and to serve is nurtured across our 45 elementary schools, 9 secondary schools, and 3 continuing education facilities, providing exceptional educational experiences and services to over 37,000 students of all ages.

Whether your child is just entering Kindergarten for the first time or transferring from another school board, we’re happy to help you register your child for school at HCDSB!

Online Registrations

Throughout the school year, we continue to accept online registrations for elementary schools as well as secondary schools at HCDSB.

NOTE: As our in-school class lists are now finalized, any students new to a school or new to HCDSB who are registered after September 8, 2020, will be placed in a VIRTUAL classroom*.

*The next opportunity to transfer from remote (virtual) instruction to in-class instruction will be after Monday, October 12, 2020.

Part 1 – Online Registration

Online registration is available as the first step of the registration process.

If you have never used the online registration portal, you will need to create an account first:

1. Click on the Online Registration button below
2. Hit  'Sign in' on the top right-hand corner.
3. Press the green button to 'Create an account'.

Once you have done this, you will be able to log on with your personal username/email and password.

The online registration process takes about 20 minutes to complete,  longer for Kindergarten students. All information is  'Saved' in real-time, so there's no need to remember to ‘Save’. You can leave the form at any time or if you are timed out, you can login later to finish. All the information that you have entered will still be there. If you have more than one child, a separate registration must be completed.

Part 2 – Complete Registration In-Person

The second part of the registration process involves going to your home school to show required documents (listed below).

NOTE: At this time, our schools are closed as a result of the COVID-19 health situation. You will be contacted to complete Part 2 of your child’s registration after schools re-open.
