OAPCE Parent Summit 

The Ontario Association of Parents in Catholic Education's (OAPCE) Parent Summit and Annual General Meeting originally scheduled on Saturday, May 2, 2020 has been POSTPONED to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

The event will be co-hosted by the Halton Catholic District School Board and the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board.

Keynote presentations will be provided by Fr. James T. Mulligan​ and Robert Gallo:

Fr. James T. Mulligan: Keynote Speaker

Fr. James T. Mulligan is a best-selling author and educator. He will present his most recent work, A Pastor's Journal, which explores the school-parish relationship.

Fr. Mulligan's talk highlights the spiritual and emotional bond between schools and parishes and provides suggestions on how to improve and renew the experience for teachers, students, parents and clergy.

Robert Gallo: Speaker

Robert is currently an Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) Instructor and Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association (OECTA) Course Director who oversees all Religion Additional Qualifications for the Toronto Catholic District School Board. He maintains a passion for animating faith throughout the system, creating resources, presenting and working closely with teacher candidates and new teachers.

His presentation, Living our Virtues in a Virtual World; is an in-depth look at connecting the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations in a world dominated by social media and giving students the tools they need to be successful, on and off-screen.
