General Information

​The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) has been accredited by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) as a provider for the following Additional Qualification (AQ) Courses:

Religious Education in Catholic Schools

  • Religious Education in Catholic Schools: Part I
  • Religious Education in Catholic Schools: Part II
  • Religious Education in Catholic Schools: Specialist

Mathematics

  • Mathematics Primary & Junior: Part I

French as a Second Language (FSL)

  • French as a Second Language (FSL): Part I 

These courses meet the OCT AQ course requirement of 125 hours. Three (3) sessions are offered throughout the year in the fall, winter and summer. 

Course Format
All AQ courses will be offered online using Brightspace/D2L.
