Queen of Heaven Elementary School

Our School

Welcome to Queen of Heaven Catholic Elementary School. The initial school year in our brand new building was in September 2014. Presently, we have approximately 820 students registered at our school. For more information, please visit the Queen of Heaven Catholic Elementary School Website.

We are proud of the partnership that exists between our students, staff, home and church community, which exemplifies our Catholic values in a learning environment of dignity and respect.

Queen of Heaven Catholic Elementary School is an associate school of Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary School, and is located north of Derry Road, between Tremaine Road and Bronte Road in Milton, Ontario.

We are so blessed to have a caring and nurturing staff who model our Catholic values and support our students, both spiritually and academically. We have very active parent volunteers and a dedicated Catholic School Council. We also appreciate the entire Pastoral team at Holy Rosary Parish, who provide guidance and dedication to the faith development of our students. Their assistance is greatly appreciated and the spiritual presence that they bring to our school community.

We welcome the many families who are new to our community and encourage them to become involved in the school as attentive parents, as parent volunteers and as active supporters of the Queen of Heaven Catholic Elementary School community.

We foster community partnerships, strong traditions and we celebrate and give thanks to all who participate in cultivating the close working relationship that exists between our home, school and parish.

Before and After School Programs

Curriculum Focus

One of our primary goals is to provide students with the opportunity to reach their full academic potential. Every student is unique and must have equal opportunities to achieve success, according to his or her own interests, abilities, and goals. We have set high expectations and standards for our students, while introducing a range of options that allow students to learn in many different ways. In addition, our "Focus on Faith" grade level themes are integrated throughout the curriculum.

Environmental Focus

As Stewards of God’s Creation, our school Eco Team leads us in our daily commitment to reduce waste, encourage recycling and find ways to reduce our energy and water consumption.

Parent Community Involvement
