  • Seven (7) years successful teaching/administrative experience
  • Teaching experience of two divisions and/or specialized areas within the school system
  • Certificate of Qualification
  • Completed Principals Qualifications (Part I, Part II or equivalent) prior to beginning assignment
  • Masters of Education is preferred
  • Completed O.C.S.T.A./O.E.C.T.A. Religious Education Specialist course, Parts I and II with a commitment to complete Specialist or equivalency (i.e. Masters of Religious Education)
  • Completed Board’s Catholic Leadership Program, Modules 1 and 2
  • Recommendation from Superintendent of Education


  • Acting Principal, Vice-Principal
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with staff, parish and community to promote the vision of Catholic School Community
  • Committed to equity, inclusion, anti-racism and anti-oppression and eliminating barriers to success for diverse student populations.
  • A collaborative leader with superior communication and consensus building skills
  • Academic and professional qualifications beyond the basic requirements
  • Demonstrated servant leadership management style
  • Involvement in Special Education programs and curriculum development, implementation, assessment and evaluation
  • On-going participation in their own professional growth and learning
  • Positive interpersonal relationships with staff, students, parents and other members of the school community


  • An updated résumé and cover letter
  • A copy of the Certificate of Qualification
  • Leadership Development Program Certificate or Equivalent
  • A positive Pastoral letter of reference from your Parish (dated within the last twelve months)
  • Completed Leadership Candidate Profile
  • Two letters of professional reference
