Each year, we review our Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.

The plan describes our goals for complete accessibility, and showcases past measures taken and future plans to help identify, prevent and remove barriers for people with disabilities within the Halton Catholic District School Board.

Bell Relay Service

Accessibility for Individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

The Bell Relay service supports communication between hearing people and people who are deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, or those with speech disabilities through a teletypewriter (TTY) device.

The TTY device allows individuals to type their conversations to a Bell Relay operator. The operator then reads the typed conversation to the other party. The Bell Relay operator then types the other party’s spoken words back to the TTY user.

For more information relating to this service, and how to use it, please visit Bell Canada’s website.
