Patrick Murphy

I have been a resident of Milton and Parishioner at Holy Rosary Parish for
30 years.

My wife, Francine, and I have 3 children, Farran (5), Teagan (11) and
Breanne (21). Teagan and Farran both attend St. Anthony of Padua School.
Being long-term members of the Catholic community in Milton, and having
our children in the HCDSB system, it is important for my family to be active
in supporting a strong, sustainable publicly-funded Catholic education
system. The commitment to being supportive is the driving force in my position on the Board of Trustees and my role as Vice Chair, and why Francine is Vice Chair of the Parent Council at St. Anthony of Padua.

Professionally, after receiving a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a Major in Marketing from Concordia University, I worked in industrial business to business Sales and Marketing positions, progressing into management positions and then the role of General Manager, a position I have held
for the last 21 years.

In support of the community and parish, I am also a member of the Holy Rosary Knights of Columbus Council #6777. Having held several positions on the executive committee over the last 5 years, I have been the Grand Knight of the council since July 2018 and am honoured to help guide the
tremendous efforts of a very strong and active membership. Council #6777 allows me to support many groups within Holy Rosary Parish, Milton HCDSB school communities and the community at large.

I enjoy playing hockey, golfing and travelling with my family as often as possible. My wife and I are very involved with our children’s activities, supporting them where we can by coaching or organizing events to support their teams or groups.

I look forward to serving the Milton community as one of your Catholic School Trustees for the next 4 years.
